Born in Rome from an Italian mother and Bolivian father, Jaime Ondarza is among the most experienced and prominent managers in the global Media & Entertainment business, with extensive expertise in the kids’ segment. With more than 22 years of international experience, in June 2020 Ondarza joined Paramount as EVP & Managing Director of the South HUB (Southern Europe, the Middle East and Africa). At the beginning of 2021 Ondarza was given the additional responsibility to develop the streaming business across the respective regions in the role of Executive Vice President Southern Europe Middle East & Africa and Head of Streaming Southern EMEA and Latin America.
Prior to joining Paramount, Jaime covered long-standing executive positions in Warner Media and Boing, Mediaset and Warner Media’s JV, contributing to achieving cardinal goals for the company, with a great transformational impact on the international Media industry. In addition to founding the first commercial channel FTA for kids on digital TV all over the world, Ondarza launched Boing’s app, the first AVOD streaming service by Warner Media designed for families and kids.
