The 2017 edition of Giornate Professionali del Cinema will take place in Sorrento on 27-30 november, organized by ANEC (Associazione Nazionale Esercenti Cinema) in cooperation with ANICA and ANEM. Eight premieres are scheduled in this year’s edition, along with 17 conventions, several professional meetings and a special event to celebrate the 40th edition of the event.
Among the professional meetings, it’s particularly interesting the ANEC’s seminar on the new Italian law on cinema (Decreto Franceschini), a conference moderated by UNIC – International Union of Cinemas – president Laura Houlgatte on the distribution in Europe and a meeting ANEC-ANEM-FAPAV on piracy.
In the list of the eight premieres (available on the website), there are tow films both presented at 2017 edition of MIA|Cinema What’s Next Italy: Il Premio by Alessandro Gassman (Vision Distribution) and Matrimonio Italiano by Alessandro Genovese (Medusa).
