The Direzione generale Cinema e audiovisivo has opened the Bando per la concessione di contributi selettivi per lo sviluppo e la coproduzione di opere cinematografiche e serie audiovisive franco-italiane.
Funding is reserved for national parity or minority projects. The budget for the call is €1 million, divided as follows:
- €300,000 for the co-development of cinematographic or television works;
- €700,000 for the co-production of cinematographic works.
The first session, in which half of the available funds will be distributed, opened on Monday 20 March 2023 and will close on 10 April of the same year. The second session will open in September.
