The IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige Film Fund & Commission continues to support productions in the region.
As reported by the Film Commission, in this last call of the year the fund is financing the production of 12 projects, including short films, TV series, and feature films. Around 74 days of filming are planned in Alto Adige, involving local professionals and service companies.
Here are all of the funded projects.
Funded Projects in Production phase:
- Deer Girl by Francesco Jost, produced by Vivo film with Ventura Film and the involvement of Albolina Film as service producer;
- Sasha by Vladimir Beck, co-produced by Vivo film with Mars Media Entertainment;
- Ein ganzes Leben by Hans Steinbichle, produced by epo-film produktion from Vienna together with Tobis Film;
- Joe der Film by Thomas Hochkofler, produced by Mediaart Production Coop Genossenschaft in Bolzano;
- Sturm am Manaslu by Reinhold Messner, produced by Dolomites;
- Jump Out by Nika Saravanja, produced by Tico Film Company (Italy) in co-production with Playtime Films SPRL (Belgium) and Fade In D.O.O. (Croatia), supported by IDM already in development under the title Nafsi Africa and winner of the title “Best European Project” at Biografilm Festival 2020;
Funded projects in development phase:
- Ich, Margarete by Kai Wessel, a series produced by Germany’s Tempest Film Produktion und Verleih;
- Leben mit den Bären by Andreas Pichler and Beatrice Segolini, co-produced by Miramonte Film and Gebrüder Beetz Filmproduktion GmbH & Co. KG;
- Eden Sonate by Ronny Trocker, produced by Bagarrefilm;
Funded short films:
- Zerrissen. Mein Teures dörflein Mühlen by Lisa Hintner;
- BinIchDenn by Dietmar Gamper directed by Stefanie Aichne;
- Reports from the Void by Martin Prinoth.
