The ninth edition of the IDM Film Commission Alto Adige Script Lab, RACCONTI #9, dedicated to the development of feature films, opens now its applications.
The ideal candidates are professional and emerging screenwriters and directors of all nationalities, accompanied by a producer, with strong stories to tell. After several years of television seriality, RACCONTI #9 is back to the development of feature films, the focus that had characterized the first IDM Film Commission Alto Adige Script Lab, offering to candidates the opportunity to put the most valid ideas into practice and build their own film with the help of industry mentors. The main objective is, in fact, to guide participants in the entire creative process of a project in development: writing, production, marketing strategies, and public involvement.
The applications for RACCONTI #9 will take place through a call that will be available online until June 17th, 2020. Screenwriters and directors can show them up with a producer in a team (max 2 people) and the project, with which the team applies, must also be filmed in South Tyrol. Three projects will be selected, presented by three different teams who will win the opportunity to develop their ideas, with the help of experts, during the workshops.
The three workshops will take place in South Tyrol for four days each with additional online writing phases scheduled throughout the Script Lab. The first slot is provided for November 2020, the second in January 2021 and the last in March 2021.
RACCONTI #9 will take place in English and the program includes a participation fee of € 800.00 (+ IVA) for the entire team. More information on the IDM Film Commission South Tyrol website.
