The movie Shortcut climbed the U.S. box office charts. Released last weekend, the work directed by Alessio Liguori grossed $300,000, reaching the seventh place in the box office. It is the only Italian film in the top ten.
Produced by Camaleo and Sternenberg Films, in association with Play Entertainment and Mad Rocket Entertainment, the film was released by Minerva Pictures in August on the main VOD platforms (The Film Club, Sky Primafila, Chili, Apple TV, Google Play), while in the USA it was released in theatres on September 25th.
Shortcut tells the story of a group of five teenagers on vacation with their families. The protagonists will find themselves facing a dreadful situation, having to cross the border between the still weakly childish world of adolescence and the material and suffocating one of maturity.
