Alessandro Saba is the Head of Original Content for The Walt Disney Company in Italy. In this role he selects, develops and produces original productions of all genres (Scripted, Unscripted, Factual), for all brands (Disney, Star, National Geographic) and for all Group platforms.
Previously, he was VicePresident of Fox Network Group for 4 years, responsible for Channel Programming, Research area and Original Productions.
From 2001 to 2016 he worked in the Mediaset Group, first as Head of Prime Time Programs, then as Head of Content for Italia1: entertainment, dramas, sit-coms, web entertainment and branded content.
He graduated from Bologna University with a degree in Communication Sciences with Umberto Eco.
