Born in 1968, Pierre Siracusa joined the public service in 1993 in the fiction unit of France 2 and then very quickly took up the position of assistant program adviser for the same unit. In 1996, he joined the youth unit of the same channel as a program advisor before joining that of France 3 in 1998. In October 2008, Pierre Siracusa was appointed head of the 6-12 year olds and family entertainment division within the common youth department of the France Télévisions group before being promoted to animation research and development manager within the same team at the end of 2011. In 2012, he took over the management of Animation within the group’s Youth unit. Since May 2021, Pierre Siracusa has been appointed director of the Young Audiences, Education and Animation unit within the new program department of France Télévisions.
