The film and audiovisual projects selected and subsidised by the Emilia-Romagna Region following two calls for proposals issued in December 2021 and dedicated to regional, national and international productions have been announced.
In order to be eligible for the call for proposals, the total production costs had to be equal to or higher than 4 million, and the eligible expenses in the territory equal to or higher than 1 million.
The call for regional companies supports 9 projects with a total of €416,000: 4 documentaries, 1 feature film, 1 television work and 3 short films.
For the call reserved for national and international film production, 12 projects out of 39 submitted will be supported with €998,525. Selected projects include the third Diabolik chapter directed by Manetti Bros. and Alessandro Siani’s new film entitled Tramite Amicizia.
A project of absolute importance for the enhancement of film culture will also be financed, namely the film entitled La conversione, produced by Kavac Film and directed by Marco Bellocchio.
