It was presented yesterday at the Casa del Cinema di Roma Videocittà 2020 – Festival della Visione. This year’s edition will not only focus on new audiovisual expressions, but also on the fight against violence and gender equality.
The event was presented by Francesco Rutelli, president of ANICA and creator of Videocittà, the artistic director Francesco Dobrovich and Alberto Sasso – Eur S.p.A. President.
The Festival will take place from 25 to 27 September at the Giardino delle Cascate, part of the Eur district and recently the protagonist of a deep restoration by Eur S.p.A.. All events will take place in the presence of the public, in compliance with the measures of distance and security, but the event will also be available via streamig.
Francesco Rutelli hopes to make this edition a step of a wider path, which should last until Christmas and New Year.
The Festival will start on September 25th, when the new format “Awards” dedicated to the frontiers of audiovisual development will be presented. The awards will be divided into six categories: Istanti Distanti; Programma in Streaming; Evento Live; Social Content, Video Musicale; Millennial.
